Hi all First, thanks again for your effort.

I'm running cm-13.0-20160620.

I'm experimenting problems sharing the Internet 3G connection both using wifi hotspot and using usb modem.

The connection is actually shared, by the reactivity is so slow that make it unusable. It takes too long the initial DNS request, then it takes too long the http request, then...

It seem back in the 14.400 bauds modem.

Just to be sure that my SIM card was not the problem; I've tested my SIM card in other mobile (Samsung Galaxy Prime with Android 5.0.2) at the same time (but the time to switch the SIM) using the same laptop and the Internet surfing was great. I've tested back my m5 again with the same slowly behavior

Could someone test it? It would good to know if it is a general problem or only my phone/SO

Regards

I think it's only an issue with the built-in DNS server. When I set a DNS server manually on the laptop (e.g. 8.8.8.8), everything works fine.

Will look into it though, since I'm not allowed to change the network configuration on all clients.

Idem but on another device and another ROM. I get fast DNS resolution on any DNS (phone one, any other), I get fast HTTP loadings on IPs, but slow HTTP loadings with domain names
