Minus signs and radical symbols not displayed #1552

Description

The minus signs and radical symbols are not displayed in this selection and in all other places in the paper, though the overbar for the radical is shown.

The expression [the first one in Eq. (2)] should be $S^2_- = -\frac{B}{3} - \frac{2}{3}\sqrt{B^2 - 3C}\cos\left(\alpha + \frac{\pi}{3}\right),$ but is displayed as shown in the screenshot below.
