In the referenced publication using the default template for the ICLR 2024 conference (a large machine learning conference) authors and affiliations are not properly rendered.

latexml would likely need a new binding for the ICLR conference, supported via iclr2024_conference.sty in the reported paper.

Edit: FYI, that package appears to be used in 1390 articles upto and including December 2023, or 0.06% of articles. Unless we land better generic support for frontmatter fallbacks in latexml, it will take a while before we get to implementing it ourselves.

But we would welcome a latexml PR contribution from the ICLR community.
