Shelly Plus2PM in Cover/Roller-Mode #659

Hi guys,

I'm a bit at the end of the road here… For whatever reason Allterco decided to completely change the way their MQTT works. Or in other words: it doesn't work in the way it did before. The documentation says it does, but reality is that each status and each command needs JSON transmitted.

The older model works fine, the new stuff is a nightmare. But they don't sell the good ones anymore.

Has anybody ever managed it to successfully add a Shelly Plus2PM to MQTTTHING and willing to share some knowledge?

After searching the whole internet (literally), I stumbled across this issue which contains all the information to point you into the right direction: https://github.com/arachnetech/homebridge-mqttthing/issues/595 – closing it here but it might help other people to find the right issue by searching for Plus2PM.
