Instance and ICMP removal #535

Note: this is a new pull request that entirely removes Instances and ICMP from the codebase.

We currently do not use Instances or ICMP, which rely solely on Instances. As such, I ripped these operations from the codebase: let's not give users unnecessary buttons and things to mess up.
