The dashboard has several identical icons that only differ in their tooltip, which hinders usability. All of these actions are already available in the New menu on top, so it won't be a problem if these icons are completely gone, because one can still get the job done via the menu.
Otherwise, I think it is better to use an icon that corresponds to the technology itself. For example, a "Jenkins check" could have a Jenkins logo/icon. The current + <element> approach is very ambiguous; in fact, I only saw now that some "icon duos" actually correspond to a single logical entity.
