Was this connection never used yet? Because removing older connection might create issues/confusion if it already used somewhere..

The edge type has been used for a few days in one customer instance. But because of issue routing problems, these edges need to be replaced by another edge type. So yes, these edges won't be used anywhere after this schema change.
