Current plan:

Phase 1

Focus: Govern Server architecture + initial research.

• Govern Server:
  • Backend (fetches data from The Graph).
  • Frontend (GraphQL API, read only).
  • Easy setup (containerize everything).
• JS libraries:
  • Early prototypes of the ERC 3k and Govern JS libraries.
  • ERC 3k is extracted from Govern Server and used by it (Node library).
  • Govern JS is the client counterpart of Govern Server (Node + browser library).
• Research:
  • Govern Server authentication.
  • Narrow the features provided by the JS libraries.
• Documentation:
  • Put together a documentation structure for ERC 3k + Govern.

Phase 2

Focus: Govern Server authentication + research about delegating transactions.

• Govern Server:
  • Authentication.
  • Create DAOs.
  • API subscriptions.
• JS libraries:
  • Alpha version of the ERC 3k JS library.
  • Alpha version of the Govern JS library.
  • Alpha version of the Govern React library.
• Research:
  • Delegating transactions.
• Documentation:
  • Complete API documentation and intro for Govern Server.

Phase 3

Focus: Delegate transactions.

• Govern Server:
  • Web Hooks.
  • Schedule, challenge and execute actions via API (API pays for gas).
• JS libraries:
  • Stable version of the ERC 3k JS library.
  • Stable version of the Govern JS library.
  • Stable version of the Govern React library.
• Documentation:
  • Complete API documentation and intro for the JS libraries.

Phase 4

Main focus: polish the developer experience.

• Govern Server:
  • New frontend: REST API.
  • Complete logs story.
  • Complete self-deploying story.
• Research:
  • Conduct interviews with early users to identify and eliminate pain points.
• Documentation:
  • Improve documentation beyond API docs: add guides, examples, visuals.
