Abstract:

Parrots are colorful birds distributed among the warm areas of the globe. They are a charismatic species because of their capacity of imitating the human voice and speech. As social and smart birds, they need a stimulant environment and when close to humans can learn to solve puzzles and perform complex tasks.

As the Aragon Network grows, the need to understand its use-cases and capabilities become ever more clear. As a way to find and educate the early adopters of the platform, and also discover possible bottlenecks in the application, we propose a human-centered R&D that will focus in integrating the groups that could use the platform, understand their problems and proposing changes that could help guide the developers of the system.

Deliverables:

  1. An analysis of the user-facing a system that will cover Heuristics and Platform Design. This will allow for a robust overview of capacities for end user and paths of less resistance to product market fit and real broader usage. (Milestone 1)

  2. From 3 to 5 complete reviews and proposals of activities to benefit the platform and in case of bottlenecks found, proposals on how to best adapt the system to still support these new initiatives. It can range from light alterations to news dApps or a revamp of the platform. (Milestone 2)

  3. An educative and on-boarding material that aim to help similar groups to better understand the platform and its new capabilities, as much as helping existing and new developers to best overview the platform that they are helping to create. (Milestone 3)

Grant Size:

Funding: 50k DAI, split into 4 steps: 10k when proposal accepted, 10k when milestone 1 is complete, 20k when milestone 2 is complete, 10k when milestone 3 is complete.

Reward: up to 20k ANT after review and completion of deliverables.

Requirements:

  1. Heuristic Review of the Finance App and the transfer system. Link
  2. Wireframe analysis and implementation of a new system using the actual front end. Link

Hi @calcadarafael thank you for submitting your proposal.

At the Aragon project, UX has always been a priority. We are currently working on a UX audit of the product and we would love to have people from the community helping on this. However, we think that said contribution/collaboration should not be done via a nest grant but via a bounty. Thus, we have decided not to approve your proposal.

If you are still interested in collaborating with UX work, please reach out to Paty or Jouni in the Arachat
