This is an interesting project. Creating tools to enable DAOs to govern Livepeer’s network operations is something worth pursuing. Thus, we have decided to approve this proposal.
The second part of the application is the request for funding. Here you have a guide for submitting such request for funding.
In this second stage of the application, we review in detail the PoC/whitepaper, roadmap, deliverables and the time commitment of the team. Our concern regarding this project is that we think there are some technical challenges associated with delegating, and it's not clear from this proposal how the auction mechanism would work with livepeer's delegation process. Thus, we would love to see more technical specification/implementation details. We look forward to reviewing the second part of the application.

Aragon Nest Proposal: Orchestrator DAOs
“The revolution will not be televised, the revolution will be live, transcoded on Livepeer.”
Abstract
Livepeer is working on a scaling proposal called Streamflow which introduces Probabilistic Micropayments and the concept of Orchestators, enabling the coordination of the work by a public pool of transcoders.
Livepeer has reached out to their community, to developers, and platforms like Aragon and DAOstack to build orchestrator-backed DAOs.
This grant request is for the creation a reference implementation of a DAO-backed Orchestrator, to enable the decision making between orchestrators, delegators and transcoders to remain secure and transparent.
Using the Aragon UNIX design pattern, two apps will be created as part of the reference implementation. This addition to the Aragon infrastructure is to be reused by DAOs involved in the coordination of staking pools.
Implementation
Orchestrator App (based on Althea Subnet): a listing of the transcoders managed by an orchestrator DAO and listed by name, status, ETH address, location, balance, stake, jobs completed.
Orchestrator App: The app could be used as a dashboard by any DAO responsible for coordinating and monitoring the work of multiple nodes.
Vickrey Auction App: an auction enabling participant to bid for an asset, but only required to pay the amount of the second highest bid. This second-price mechanism will encourage participants to bid truthfully.
Vickrey Auction App: the winning bid is accepted as a staking deposit for transcoders to be added to the transcoding pool. The minimum bid will be priced to cover potential slashing fees.
Vickrey Auction App: the app will be based on the auction contract implemented here.
Both the orchestrator and Vickrey auction apps will added to APM to be used by DAOs involved in coordinating staking pools and/or DPOS.
The Orchestrator DAO reference implementation will also leverage existing/upcoming apps:
Voting App: incentivize delegators to keep staking with an orchestrator by increasing their voting tokens via a vesting schedule. The older the stake, the greater the voting power.
Autark range voting: DAO members are able to vote on-chain on decrease/increase of the reward fee, the price per segment, and the staking fee.
Autark allocation/reward: DAO members can decide on inflation spending and allocations for research and development of the LivePeer ecosystem.
Expresso Datastore: list the work completed (i.e links to the videos stored in IPFS) by an orchestrator and its trancoders. The listing could be use for verification and delivery.
Activity Notifications: sends notifications to DAO members whenever the fee or reward parameters have been updated.
Survey app: to be used during beta testing to get user feedback.

Funding: $50k in ETH, split into chunks paid out on a monthly basis.
Success reward: $20k in ANT, given out when all deliverables are completed.
This is a bid to contribute to the Ara-family, the Ara-way, and it would be an honor to present the Orchestrator DAO in the next Aracon.
