Work Proposal: Membership on-boarding and off-boarding process and Cooperative DAO Bylaws

@aaronfosterreal and I have started drafting bylaws, membership agreements, and protocols around membership onboarding and offboarding. That work can be found here:

We're actively working on this, and will probably finish even before this Work Proposal goes through. Regardless, we want to follow the workflow protocol so that this can potentially be eligible for compensation in the future.

The amount of time you think that’s going to take

So far we have invested the following amounts of time:

• @burrrata: 7hrs
• @aaronfosterreal: 12hrs

This has led us to create rough drafts of the bylaws, CoC, and membership docs.

• Aragon Cooperative Bylaws
• Aragon Cooperative Code of Conduct
• Aragon Cooperative Membership On-boarding Protocol
• Aragon Cooperative Membership Agreement
• Aragon Cooperative Membership Off-boarding Protocol

We estimate that it will take 5-6 more hours (each) to gather feedback from the group and update the docs to a state that can be put to a vote. Once we have achieved rough consensus on the final state of the documents, we will submit them to a vote to be merged into the current governance process.

Chronological Summary:

• initial drafts: ~ 20hrs
• polished proposals ready for a vote: ~ 12hrs

Notes:

• @aaronfosterreal is not currently a member of the Aragon Cooperative. This is due to recent problems that have suspended new member onboarding. That being said, @aaronfosterreal has provided valuable feedback in group discussions and taken tangible steps to do work that moves us closer to delivering AGP-40.
• Furthermore, the very documents that @aaronfosterreal is working on are the membership documents. He's literally working on them so that he can be a member of the Aragon Cooperative. That shows a level of dedication and integrity that I have not seen from any other members of the group, myself included. As such, this Work Proposal is technically being submitted by me, but I'll split any potential bounty with @aaronfosterreal.

hi! count on me to work together with you guys, I don't plan to ask for extra rewards regarding the Membership stream, so I expect I'm not needing to open a new issue on regarding ths Membership on/off-boarding workstream.
