Was looking to start mapping AGP-40 deliverables to the work that's already been done, but I can't find anything. The GitHub organization is a mess. There's lots of repos, but it's not clear what they're for.
That being said, there's lots of great ideas and positive momentum in some of the repos. It would great to re-organize and re-initiate these endeavors. This includes:
The ideas repo where there were discussions on how the Cooperative can better engage with Nest/Flock teams, reach out to social/chat applications, and start to maybe even build apps. This would fulfill the "Further suitable community-led, signaled and proposed opportunities
" AGP-40 deliverable. We're not quite ready for this yet, but if we get through this rough patch I think it's good to have goals for the future.
The ops repo had lots of great ideas on integrating TPS. Once we have a basic model, it would make sense to start building a prototype for a TPS enables Cooperative DAO. This would fulfill the "Dogfooding and documentation of Aragon tooling and workflow" AGP-40 deliverable. If we document the process it could also fulfill the "Documentation of practice (education & knowledge sharing)" AGP-40 deliverable.
The membership repo has a backlog of people who want to join the Cooperative. There is no clear protocol in place to manage new member onboarding as well as member removal. We need to create this to fulfill the "Membership on-boarding and off-boarding process" AGP-40 deliverable.
The ACGP repo is complex requiring multiple DAOs and multiple steps to operate. This needs to be simplified. It's also not clear what value this provides beyond just cataloging current and past votes. If there is more functionality intended, that could be explored as part of the "Governance procedures" AGP-40 deliverable. Otherwise this needs to be archived.
There's currently a landing-page repo and a Coop DAO Docs repo. We need to decide on 1 source of truth to use as the Aragon Cooperative's landing page / website.
The DR-Tracer repo has potential to help Cooperative members log their time and communicate the work they're doing, but at the moment the formatting is a bit clunky and it's not immediately clear how to use it. If the purpose is only to log work that has been done, then this seems like it adds unnecessary complexity. If there is more to this, then it could be explored as part of the "Management of Community Fund DAO applications" AGP-40 deliverable.
A Bylaws draft 0.2 was created on HackMD, but it's not in any of the GitHub repos. "Cooperative DAO bylaws" is an AGP-40 deliverable, so this work needs to be added to the GitHub organization.
