Debian 9 rtorrent error #305

Today I install Debian 9 on same second server.

The whole process goes clean. Only at end /usr/local/bin/rtinst: line 867: rtorrent: command not found

after reboot server, rutorrent doesn't work.

rutorrent say something as:

I manually install rtorrent sudo apt install rtorrent reboot

Now works without error.

There has been an issue with xmlrpc site which is causing this.

Rerun the script, the problem seems to have been fixed but it has been intermittent so check if after running the script if ~/source/xmlrpc exists, if it does then should have installed ok.

I tried on the third server. rtinst 1.5.6.

No error message.

rtorrent start by default.

Problem solved.

yeah the issue was with the xmlrpc site, which was intermittent so you may still have problems but if you do just rerun the script until it installs.
