Not downloading anything using latest version #411

Hi there, rTorrent doesn't download anything using latest version of script (even with reverted ip6 thing) on my raspberry pi; fresh install, only changed the download folder in settings and added speed limit. Torrents just sit there and not downloading no mater how big or small they are. It seems they are connected since other completed torrents are "seeding" mode (but not actually seeding, at least getting points for them on the site).

Installing 0.13.6/0.9.6 version works on Ubuntu 18.04

sudo apt install rtorrent
rt restart

Previously had issues with 0.13.6/0.9.6 on Debian 9 and Ubuntu 18. Will look into this.

For now updated latest version will install 0.13.6/0.9.6 as default on Ubu 16 and Debian 8.

I am on Raspberry Pi 3; should've probably specify that.
EDIT= after using sudo apt install rtorrent and rt restart; its fixed. tnx

Installing 0.13.6/0.9.6 version works on Ubuntu 18.04

sudo apt install rtorrent
rt restart

It works in Debian 9. Thank you very much :D

I just reinstalled Debian 9 in other dedicated and rtinst v1.7.7 (0.13.7/0.9.7) The issue has been fixed! Everything is working fine now. Many thanks

Now installs 0.13.8/0.9.8 as default on ubu18+ and deb9+ . This seems less problematic than older versions on these OS's.

For older OS versions it installs 0.13.6/0.9.6 and you can update to later versions using rtupdate
