rtupgrade dont work #616

For more information go to: https://github.com/arakasi72/rtinst/blob/master/README.md Select from the following options: 1.) rtsetup - update the rtinst scripts 2.) rtadduser - add new user 3.) rtremove - delete a user 4.) rtdload enable - enable https downloads 5.) rtupdate - up/down-grade rtorent/libtorrent 6.) rutupgrade - upgrade to latest version of RuTorrent 7.) rtwebmin - install webmin 8.) rtletsencrypt - install Lets Encypt ssl certificate 9.) rtsslcert - generate new self signed ssl certificate Enter option or q to quit 6 Installed version: 3.10 Latest version: 4.0 Choose which build to install, (if you are not sure select 1)

  1. Use the latest stable release
  2. Use the most recent master build Select 1 or 2: 1

Installing version 4.0 of rutorrent Your existing rutorrent folder will be moved to /root/rutorrent_old

If you are not happy with the upgrade you can restore the old version, by rerunning this script

Installing Rutorrent (v4.0-stable) Setting permissions, Starting services

Installation of RuTorrent complete plex@webservices:~$ rt rtorrent is running

Result after upgrade:

how do i stay on 3.10 with this rtinst script?

run rutupgrade again and it will have an option to restore the old version.

your old install is at Your existing rutorrent folder will be moved to /root/rutorrent_old
