While this is not solved, here's an idea [Gamb]:

Introduce an OS check in the beginning. If the OS is windows, than override the parallel = True options to False, while informing the user, naturally!.

The aforementioned idea was implemented already.

Overriding the parallel mode is working for Windows! However, I can't find out why the parallel mode is still not working.... Any ideas @CarlosCHMS and @araujolma?? I was looking for this article: http://rhodesmill.org/brandon/2010/python-multiprocessing-linux-windows/
