Look what Pompei can do: Clearly something that works only online (leaflet is presumably accessing an ESRI Server here)

it could also be a screenshot :o) But we would want to show it live.

I wonder if we could even pull it off for ipads to some degree if we just generated svgs per unit or some such in advance.
