MKAP: recording of human remains #2690

We hit a body last season, and we are hoping to take a bioarchaeologist (Rose Campbell) to take a look and record it this next season. We met with her about it today.

It would be nice to have something in the recording for this, and perhaps this would be an opportunity to think more about this type of recording, since I know you guys have been interested in it.

I guess this already existed #1982 but not sure if you want to go back to that one or not so I leave this open for now.

1982 is all we have on that topic so far. It needs the same base module that is supposed to handle your relief annotation. It is very unlikely that anything useful will come out of that this year. So for now we can only think of recording additional fields or images or whatever seems useful in FileMaker.

Ok, then that requires coordination with the bioarchaeologist.

There might be synergies with #2671, but I leave that to you guys at this stage.

I guess we need to ask Rose about how she records and then see if there are useful overlaps with Alyssa's recording for Peru?

There will be no image annotation module in 2024. I have to lay the groundwork first. Just to let everybody know who might be counting on it. (And the image annotation module that we also want to use for MAD-P is what we would want to use here)

That's fine - it looks like we won't be able to take the bioarchaeologist out anyway.
