Cannot make it work #34

Just installed it for the first time. The first things I did was allowing it to control the system in accessibility settings and enabling it manually in the menu bar. No effect.

I then quit Logitech Gaming Software and the USBOverdriveHelper process. No effect.

Is it supposed to work out of the box or do I need to throw some hidden switches? Thanks!

I removed the two 3rd party applications from startup applications, restarted the machine, and moved the app from the .dmg to /Applications. One of these things seem to have done the trick.

After some elimination it looks like USBOverdrive was interfering even after disabling its profiles and quitting the process in the system monitor. Only enabling the profiles again and explicitly removing the two thumb buttons from them fixed the issue (well, after the reboot anyway).

Feel free to add this suggestion to the install instructions if you can recreate the issue!

I just restarted the app a few times and it started working. Not sure what was going on.
