An option to turn off emoticon replacement for a message #5

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Emoticony currently processes every blip in a wave it is a participant of,
however, some users may not want this.

Need to look at an option for being able to turn off editing for a blip.

Current work-around would be to remove emoticony as a participant and then
re-add.

This causes problems with some specific phrases such as with:public

As a short term fix, I could look at creating a whitelist of phrases to not do
replacement within.

Maybe add a magic word that emoticony regonizes and prevents it from processing
the
blip? Something like :noemoticony: at the start of a blip.

This has now been added and tested on the developer sandbox.
Adding [ne] to the start of any blip will prevent emoticony from making any
changes
in that blip.

This change will be in the next release which will happen within the next
couple of
hours.
