Not converting smileys #6

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Adding emoticony to any new wave
2. Adding emoticony to any current wave
3. Removing and Readding emoticony to waves

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

We had a wave of about 400 messages and emoticony suddenly stopped
converting our smileys. We tried to remove and re-add but it didn't work.
We thought it might be a size restriction so we opened a brand new wave and
added him. he worked for the first few posts and then quit again. We
again, tried to remove and readd but we could not get him working again.

Please provide any additional information below.

I've had a look and I can't re-create the problem.

I'm guessing it is a general Google Wave problem rather than one specific to
Emoticony - there is no reason that Emoticony should just stop working after
working
previously.

Do you know if other robots were continuing to work at the same time?

I'm having to close this issue for now as there isn't anything more I can do at
the
moment.

Thanks,
Lee

Can we add you to our wave to show you?

You can if you wish: leedstone@googlewave.com

I think it's a general issue though. Have just read this post which seems to
describe
similar problems with other robots:

The problem should now be fixed thanks to an update rolled out to Google Wave
earlier
today (http://code.google.com/p/google-wave-resources/issues/detail?id=278).

Let me know if you're still having problems.
