I would like to recommend that pandoc is added. It's a popular document conversion program, used a lot amongst R users working with markdown and LaTeX to HTML and PDF. I see the RStudio IDE has already been proposed to add, pandoc is also bundled with that, I believe.

Great! Pandoc seems very useful, thanks! And it is also already in Debian repos, BTW.
