For consideration to add: JAGS (Just another Gibbs sampler) — Cross-platform program for analysis of Bayesian hierarchical models using Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) simulation.

Another interesting software. It is in deb repos, as well as an R interface (r-cran-rjags). Aso in this field it would be nice to have some example in an archaeological project.
