We should add GPS plugin in QGIS in order to combine the work on the field (e.g. Geopaparazzi) with the work in the office (QGIS). The plugin imports a gpx file (which is the format that can b exported by Geopaparazzi).

We should add also ArcheoCAD (by INRAP) to automatically process coordinates form field survey into shapes (line, points, polygon, circles, etc...). It seems it can not (yet) replace PolygonTool but it is a good plugin

Another important package is openlayer plugin (to load openlayer data from internet in qgis)

We should also add Feehand editing plugin, in order to perfom touchscreen vector operation on the field.
