Labplot is built for KDE and its development is stalled at 2008. Qtiplot (http://soft.proindependent.com/qtiplot.html) is more cross-platform, manages more useful functions and has non-stop development. There is squeeze debian package. The only doubt is the license, that is double, GNU GPL and commercial. An alternative is Scidavis a fork of Qtiplot but stalled at 2010. I propose to remove Labplot and install Qtiplot, if license is not a problem.
