I have made an initial sketch based on E4 Period class in the overall google spreadsheet with my mappings of proposed branch/models:

It's a start. E4 does not allow an association to a group. If we wanted to have that as basic information, we would have to move down to E5. Additionally, there are relatively new properties being discuseed for the standard for indicating archaeological object types that are typically associated to a period. These could be added, but I am not sure if they are generally relevant enough to wish to do so.
