Analysis Areas workflow new image service UI problem (AfS dev/1.1.x, Arches dev/7.6.x) #1554

In testing the Analysis Areas workflow, I uploaded an image because I didn't already have a relevant image service. However, once I did this, I got "trapped" in an interface like this, with no clear pathway to continue with the workflow. I opened a new tab, and resumed the incomplete workflow and I similarly got stuck at this step:

Did you happen to see any errors in the dev console or server log?
