SLB Video hadler not handling video #1

Upon receiving your message, I have downloaded, installed, and activated the video handler. I added a link to an existing post to see how it would work, but I have not been able to make it work. Then I copied the code from your site that demos the video handling and changed the video id number to mine, that did not work. Then I copied your code exactly the way it appears on your site, so far none of them loading into lightbox. The test page is: http://www.keptlight.com/2011/11/a-new-slide-show/

You will see a series of links at the bottom, the first one is my regular handler, that works. From that down you can see my various attempts. I am probably doing something wrong and not seeing it. I have not been able to find any settings page for video handler.

Please make sure to read all of the instructions on the Video add-on's page. The add-on requires SLB v2.2+ (download link on add-on info page) but it looks like you have v2.1.3 installed.

Also, some users have reported issues with the way Cloudflare/Rocketscript affects SLB's loading, so you may want to disable that plugin when testing the beta to make sure that no problems are caused by Cloudflare.

Finally, since lightboxes generally interact with the same types of links on the page (e.g. image links), running multiple lightboxes on the same page can cause unexpected behavior. I would recommend disabling all other lightboxes to ensure that they are not blocking SLB from functioning properly.

Well then, I will wait until the granularity of different components are reduced. I have the release version of SLB, you are correct. But the information is spread out a little too much and too many beta versions to rely on. I will check to see if the video handler works with the regular release of SLB. For whatever is worth, I have tried the plugin with CloudFlare and my other video handler disabled. It must require the beta release of SLB. Let's wait and see.

Yes, as noted on the Video add-on's info page, the SLB 2.2+ is required (currently in beta). The current version will not work.

That is the current version of the video add-on. The link will always have the latest version. If you are referring to the message above, it is in regards to the version of SLB (the main plugin, not an add-on)

OK and thanks, it looks as if you implemented my suggestions. I’ll wait to see the next Beta release of the video add-on.
