Don't know if this feature exists, but cannot find it. Would like to have a message under the image for people to know they can click or tap it to expand image. I tried to use it in the caption, but it is always there and makes no sense when the image is already expanded.

This feature would be used to

Let folks know how to see expanded images. Most people are not that intuitive.

Hi, SLB does not make any changes to the display of the page itself-- it only controls the lightbox.

You may want to look into the post_gallery filter to customize the display of galleries or perhaps there is a plugin that will add text below each image.
