Dual Core config makes movie skip

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Config PMS for dualcore
2. Play 720p movie, anyone
3. Use Mencoder, no limit bandwidth or 20 or 5 Mb, use best quality or
medium quality, no different what i try

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I can watch 720p with
Mplayer,VLC or other player and the movie doesnt skip. In PMS the move
start and looks good the first minut. After 1 to 5 min the status bar for
transcode buffer starts to get lower and lower and when it comes to end the
move starts to skip. If i press pause and wait 5 min, i can play the move a
few min again whitout skip. BUT if i config PMS for 1 core, the movie looks
good and no skip on the whole movie.

When i have config the PMS for dualcore the cpu% is 65%,65%
When i have config the PMS for singelcore the cpu% is 70%, 20%

Problem with my computer or PMS? I dont know.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

If you are transcoding a media file, which engine are you using (mencoder,
avisynth/mencoder, tsmuxer?)

Mencoder

If the media file is in error (or does not play flawlessly), what are the
codec informations of this file (you can use following program:
mediainfo.sourceforge.net) ?

hp dc7600 is the computer id, what cpu type do you have exactly ?

Hm. Im not so good on this but what i can see now, its a Pentium 4, 640 , 3.2 
Ghz. I
can se its not a dualcore but it use Hyper Threading. Hmm. Should i use dualcore
config or not? PMS recognize dualcore. Maybe my cpu is too slow for 720p 
trancode and
streaming and its no problem with PMS.

well, pentium 4 are not really multicores ? so maybe the 1 core option is 
better. and 
it seems to work stutterless, so go for it :p
besides, for maximizing CPU when transcoding, you have to use CoreAvc + 
avisynth/mencoder engine

Thanks. That was what i think. I have tryed other transcoding engine but i dont
understand when i read the readme text how i should do when you say: CoreAvc + 
avisynth/mencoder. How do you meen?. Can i find any FAQ on this?
