I'm pretty sure the PS3 can't process DRM protected streams.

aha makes sense !! i forgot about the whole DRM protection thing..i hear apple

give up on DRM (rumours) with one of the future itunes..anyhow that answers my
question..
But I would like to point out that certain media servers (THE PAID ONES OF
COURSE say
the one from nullsoft) are able to make use of the itunes library present in the
system and play music off it..not sure how they are doing it but there is an
itunes
option in the media-share section which gets displayed on ps3 xmb and music can
be
played off it.
