[Feature request] manual sorting of model tree #860

Hello! Thanks for Archi!

I use it for almost three years. It's convenient when branches unfold automatically. My model has more then 1700 relationships and , but I never search a relation in the model tree. And when I need to find a view or a model object in the tree I have to scroll through all my relationships. It makes me a little sad.

Would you like to consider a solution - A sorting of root folders via program options. It would give a capability to place relations folder and, may be, something else in the bottom. I hope it would be comfortable not only for me.

Thanks

If my proposal doesn't meet your plans, I'll be glad any solution for my pain

You could collapse the Relations folder.

:) It unfolds after any click on any relationship in the view

It unfolds after any click on any relationship in the view

Then you must uncheck Link to View in the Models Tree toolbar.

It really would be useful if this option was separated for different root folders. For example l want enable Link to View for Business, Application, Motivation and View objects. And disable for others

That's not going to be implemented.

The underlying issue is the same as for any heavily populated tree component.

Perhaps tree filters might be a solution, for example hide certain types or folders. Something to think about for a future update.
