Describe the Issue The current python helper functions need a lot of work when it comes to the documentation, improvements, achieving feature parity with the JS functions, test cases and much more. Inspired by the https://github.com/architect/arc.codes/issues/193 issues. I think a similar approach should be taken to making the python helper functions awesome.

Project Stages

This is great. Fwiw we hope you (and all contributors) feel empowered to cut to the chase, so don't feel like you need to project planning ceremony for our benefit.

For background: it just so happened that the scope of https://github.com/architect/arc.codes/issues/193 was so huge and so very subjective that the only reasonable way it seemed to me to execute that project was to add a lot of structure to it.

Anyway, your call, but we'll be here to lend guidance (or be sounding boards) as you please!

Sounding boards, please. The help wanted label might draw some attention here.
