Integration of 3d terrain into CEA project #3557

Is it possible to display and integrate a 3d terrain file into a CEA project? I do have a case study with heigth differences of appr.1 floor height within the site terrain and would like to integrate this information into the project. Adding a terrain.tiff from QGIS only shows a flat terrain.

Hi @anjaWill, thank you for the request. That sounds like a good idea. It is technically possible for us to show the terrain on the map in CEA. However, we currently do not have the resources to implement that feature in a short time. We would definitely consider this and add it to our roadmap when we upgrade the GUI of CEA.

Hi @anjaWill A 3d terrain is possible for the Terrain Helper CEA v3.37.0 or later. Visualisation will be in the making for CEA in Late 2024.
