Revit LT compatability #93

Is it compatible with LT versions of Revit? I found the folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit LT 2019\AddIns\BackendBindings\PythonBinding has the file "RevitPython.dll'.

The pyrevit ribbon does not appear in Revit LT 2019 though.

In this file: https://microsolresources.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/AUTODESK-REVIT-VS-REVIT-LT-COMPARISON-MATRIX-2019.pdf

It says near the bottom of the 2nd page that "3rd Party API add-ins" are not in Revit LT, is pyrevit a "3rd Party API add-in" and not work in LT?

Hi, Yes, revitpythonshell and pyrevit are 3rd party API addins so apparently not usable in Revit LT.

Ok, thanks for the clarification

I'm coming across the same issue with Revit LT 2021. Installed from GitHub and tried to find it in R LT and no joy. Sad we have to get a $3200 CAD subscription to run, a fantastic free add-in. I'll stick with RLT and it's limitations.

this makes me sad
