6 years ago Update: I wrote this ticket in a bit of a rush to get it into the system, and I'm back to expand on it like a good bug contributor.
To replicate:
- Go to a SIP's page (/ingest/[UUID-of-SIP])
- Click "Add" under "Rights"
- Add and save information
- File out Rights information and hit Save. I usually do get a confirmation (blue alert) letting me know rights have been saved, and sometimes I don't. But both times, they don't end up populating in the Rights list.
- Return to SIP's page and click "List" under "Rights". No rights!
I am trying this again after arranging a few objects from the backlog and results are the same.
Rights data IS being saved in the METS file under PREMIS, as Evelyn and I have both tested. So this is exclusively a display updating issue.

Testing with Archivematica 1.7qa.
I noticed that there is an issue with creating new Rights-based metadata on a SIP. The Rights metadata seems to be created and stored in the METS metadata as an action, but it does not appear in the rights list page (in [URL]/ingest/[UUID]/rights/). I do receive a notification that the file has been saved and rights have been added, but it does not display.
