At ISIS Neutron and Muon Source we're looking in to migrating to using the Archive Appliance as it appears to provide more flexibility over our current solution. However, we are a predominately Windows based facility.
It appears that archive appliance is currently only run on Linux, is this correct?
Have there been any attempts to get it running on Windows in the past?
Are you aware of any major roadblocks to getting it on Windows?
We would be happy to do any migration work ourselves if we decide that we want to continue down this path but any advice you could give us before starting would be greatly appreciated.
