@duspeccoll I saw in the links you added, that you omitted some scripts you're porting from Ruby - if you'll look at the other stuff (particularly the Harvard/Smith examples), we've got Ruby examples as well as Python - if you wouldn't mind, I think it'd be good to add them to your links! If not, feel free to just close this issue.
