massively orphaning packages no maintainers will keep #1146

I don't understand, why those packages are marked as orphaned?

The maintainers of these packages have decided to orphan them as they don't want to maintain them any more. Also for reducing the repo size.

But, I haven't decided about my packages. A meeting or something was done to decide it? What should I do to continue maintaining?

@frealgagu there was an issue however you didn't response.

If you want to continue maintaining those packages, simply remove your packages in this list (you can take back fex but you need to update its lilac.yaml). You are always free to take ownership of orphaning packages, no matter whether it was yours or not.

Be sure to respond to issues next time, especially when you are mentioned or assgined.

The orphaning phrase is for other members to pick up packages whose previous maintainer has decided to drop.

Thanks, I've deleted the packages I'm going to continue maintaining. I've taken two from other maintainers.

@lilydjwg I have no interest in maintain fex, thanks for the clarification.

我把我还有在用的包重新收回了，包括楼上提到的 fcitx-sogoupinyin。
