For now: Just adding a number of external guests to an attendees list
Maybe importing the excel file for email and Yes No Status
Matt--I rewrote this ticket based on our conversation today and a discussion with Tricia that simplified what she wants. To achieve the report she needs, the Export needs to display the Network.
It would be nice if the report displayed the #Attendees and #External but if we can't put that in the report, she could just look at the attendees page (where it should display now with these changes).
Matt--is it possible to differentiate current and past members in ENsight when we report on attendance to Webinars? When I manually select them in the Invite Members, it doesn't differentiate who is a current member or who is a past member. If we could see it at someplace, it would be great. I asked this question above, but I wanted to emphasize that we need it.
We don't track past member as a status, anywhere we do filtering on things like that (such as the mirg filter) it's just a comparison with the roster end date. Is this just something you want displayed in the UI? If so where, I'll see what I can put together.
To facilitate the report we need to run, please add Network to the information between Role and Status. By doing this, Tricia can sort by network and see who is a guest and what networks members are in.
What is someone has multiple networks? Just append all the network codes and they can be manually dealt with? It would break auto-sorting, not sure how frequent that is but it will happen.
If we can't do past members, we could add a column for End Date right? That would give Tricia a way to sort on all with End Dates and mark them as past.
The issue with the multiple networks is going to come up. You are right. Can we dump them into 1 field and let her sort those as they come up?

Yep, that's what I've done
I can add a roster end date column, that's certainly easy.
ok, everything is done with this except the excel import. You had a sample xls that was output by gotomeeting or something we were looking at. Can you post that here so I can use it as a reference?
OOPS Didn't mean to post that twice. Still trying to figure GitHub out.
Matt--I don't see the conclusion to this ticket. Can we figure out where we are at with it?
Also, I remember we talked about loading a .csv file and getting all the member attendance that way. I am not sure we captured that here. This is our optimal plus the entire number of attendees.
ok, just looked in the code to see where we were with this. The external guest counter was added. It's manual input of the number - click it and the input appears.
Looks like nothing was done with the xls import, but looking at the structure of that one there I can auto-complete some statuses with an asterisk - the 'yes'/'no' attendance values are binary, so I can mark them as 'attended' or 'cancelled'/'No-show' depending on which you want to assign to no. With just yes/no I can't distinguish any of the 'presented'/'hosted'/'wGuest' modifiers.
I'm going to estimate 4 hrs for this functionality
Nancy, do you want us to move forward with anything Matt has estimated on?

Can we have a call at 5pm ET today to go over the tickets and see if we were good at translating what we want into the tickets. We are not always good at that š

REWRITTEN AFTER OUR DISCUSSION:
Basic: Add a field to enter the number of external attendees to a webinar. I would continue to do the manual process I do now.
Optimal--Import from Excel:
Change to the Attendees Page: Add display of # attendees (exactly like on the Event Page under the Event title) and # external (this would be either manually entered here OR derived from the Excel file)
Change to the Export Report To facilitate the report we need to run, please add Network to the information between Role and Status. By doing this, Tricia can sort by network and see who is a guest and what networks members are in.
Question: Do we track Past Member in ENsight as a Status? We would like to know if the attendees are Past Members. If that Status exists, having it here allows her to see who was a member.
