Push Notifications on ENgage #69

Push Notifications must be enabled for EN Ask and Blog Posts. We need to review how Notifications work on ENgage. We may need to revisit the way and the reason as well as how we trigger them.

Where are we with this? How do I test?

I enabled the push notifications when blogs/ask posts are created, and I believe I put in the mechanism to turn it off, I just don't see that in edit network UI at the moment for some reason, will have to look at that.

Thanks. What will it take to get Push Notifications working automatically so that when a Post to ENAsk or ENBlog is made, all members who have Push Notifications turned on get a Notification?

Since we are over our budget, I need an estimate.

While you are looking at it, how do we determine who receives Push Notifications when someone replies to a post? Does it go to everyone that has ENgage Push Notifications enabled?

Hmm, I'm not sure... it should be working, I haven't changed anything with that system. I'm not seeing any notifications hitting the onesignal API either. I'll have to make sure nothing has changed with that over the years, I haven't heard of anything and typically they would alert if there was going to be any major breaking changes. That said, the account is set up for the executivenetworksonline@gmail.com email address so maybe I just didn't see anything. I do have other accounts with onesignal though.

I'd need at least a few hours to dig in and test things. With it being an unknown as to why it's not working it's hard to say. I would imagine 5hrs tops even at a worse case scenario though.
