Currently, the Azure.Functions.Extensions v1.1 has a security vulnerability as it uses an older version (v11..) of Newtonsoft.Json.

Since there is no newer version of this package available, we can't just update it; but we could add a newer version of Newtonsoft.Json, maybe.
