First off, I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this. Although I didn't use this software, I have been using the ytt.ytt file as reference to make my subtitles manually, and it doesn't seem like any such thing is noted in there. If this is not the right place, I hope you can direct me to a more suitable place.

If you look at the Italian subtitles on this video at this time on a web browser you will see what I mean. Right after the yellow bold text, before the full stop, there is a line break that was never there in the original file. These are the contents of the YTT file, the affected paragraph being at line 194. Analogous issues have occurred with other spans in other files using other stylings (as can be seen in the rest of the series' videos that have been translated into Italian). Do you have any idea about what is going on or what workarounds there may be?

YouTube indeed makes changes to your uploaded file, and there are indeed a bunch of bugs in this process. YTSubConverter contains workarounds for the ones I know about. I haven't encountered these extra line breaks before, but I'd suggest running your subtitles through YSubConverter anyway (convert your .ytt to .ass and back to .ytt) - maybe that'll fix it. If it doesn't, I'm afraid I can't give any other suggestions.
