Successor to Pterosaur?

Hi,

controlling Firefox using VIM-like commands I am less interested in so I was particularly pleased to also find this plugin that allows VIM-like text entry. Unfortunately the plugin is discontinued as it seems, hence my question: Does anybody know of an actively developed or at least working successor?
