Can't connect the WFC (20109) #121

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Try to connect the WFC
2.Be as unlucky as I am
3.Don't connect

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of connecting, I have an error code 20109

What revision are you using? With what configuration
(SNEEK/UNEEK/SNEEK+DI)?
Uneek+DI. Last rev

Please provide any additional information below.
It can be fixed by poking 0x80003180 with the game ID (the one at 0x80000000)

You sure this is not caused by using geckoos?

I just noticed it happens as soon as I connect the Wii with Gecko dot Net/WiiRd.
I guess it doesn't come from "kenobiwii.bin" as I compiled it myself from the
latest*(1.9.3.1) sources

Just tried it myself with latest rev(r150) and it worked just fine.
Also loading the game and setting up registers is the job of the system menu
and not IOS!
So if you are not using the system menu to load the game then this is your
problem.

I am also experiencing this issue.

I just started using uneek (no DI). I dumped my NAND and ran it with UNEEK
without modifying it. Now, WFC works when booted from internal NAND, but does
not work when booting from USB NAND. This occurs in all of my Nintendo WFC
titles except Mario Kart. I am loading legit discs through System Menu.

A Google search shows that 20109 means the disc could not be "authenticated."
UNEEK is definitely the issue.
