can't control GT-I9000 rooted #65

Computer OS and version (Mac,Win,Linux,...) : Windows 7 64 bit
Java version (java -version from command line) : 1.6.0_21-b07
ADB version (adb version from command line) : 1.0.26
AndroidScreencast version : got it today from here

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Please provide any additional information below.

I've root but i can't control the phone, I can only see the output om my laptop 
and record it (the movies are somewhat laggy).
