arduino in MAC #1355

I tried to download different versions of arduino on mac platform IOS 10.8.3 The first time it opened but today I can't open it anymore or better When I click on the icon it opens but it doesn't appear anything on the screen, only the name arduino on the top left corner of the screen. If I click there I can open the preference panel where you can set the language and different other things but nothing more. How can I solve it? Thanks! Marco Rigamonti

May be that the window is outside the screen? Have you tried to "exposè" (show all the open windows. its F3 key on my mac)? C

If it can halps you I remember that between the last time the program opened well I intalled in my Mac "fritzing" and "minibloq" using the application "vine" and installing X11 too. Anyway I'll keep in touch meantime I'll try to follow your suggestion. Thanks again. Regards M.R.

Hi, I tried but I can see only the preferences window. That tells me that the program arduino is opened but I can't see the main window where I can write the code, open, save, upload..etc... That's very strange! I don't know what to do.. I have my new brand arduino uno but I can't use it!!!!! Please help me! M.R.

i would personally, delete the arduino from applications, re-download the arduino file and re-install and see if that helps?

Yes, I have updated the last version of java and I've deleted 3 times the arduino app from application and reinstalled. Is The last version the 1.0.4? Because I tried also with the 1.0.5 beta but nothing happens... A real nightmare!

Why when I connect the arduino board to my mac I see a green led (I know what it is) and a yellow led blinking? Why is it blinking?

lestofante commented 11 years ago

please can you open a discussion on the www.arduino.cc/forum? you have to be sure your is an IDE issue and not a specific configuration of your system
