Isn't ADK obsolete?
The USB host shield is still offered. The megaAdk board is retired, but the support for ADK via USB host shield requires discussion.

Hej everyone, I fathered that project together with my friend-and-former-student Andreas Goransson, but I am extremely busy these days (and so is Andreas). I am pretty sure that we will be happy to dig in our HDDs for the source for you people to adopt it if there are volunteers in the room.
In the meanwhile, where the Arduino code we made for our book on the topic. The processing one is a different story: https://github.com/aoabook/Arduino
Also, the ADK Mode package from http://processing.arduino.cc/AdkMode.zip is a broken link.
I just tried that link and it's working for me.
UPDATE: ... and since then it has broken again. For anyone who needs it, I attached a copy:
AdkMode.zip
I insist: does it make sense to work on a technology that Google has forgotten from 2012? (https://developer.android.com/adk/index.html)
@q2dg Thanks for your reminder.
But like mancoast, I'd really want to use the power of a Android smarphone for face recognition, positioning, path calculation, etc... and also actioning, control motors. For me, the smartphone must be embedded in the system, and I didn't find better solution than using a ADK board.
Would you have other solution ?
Thanks
@inooi Well, I'm not an specialist but 1sheeld could worth a look: https://1sheeld.com
Greetings,
I am using the USB Host shield with the UNO following this guide, https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/ArduinoADK
The guide is outdated and written for Processing 2.x. Also, the ADK Mode package from http://processing.arduino.cc/AdkMode.zip is a broken link. Where is the source code for ArduinoAdkUsb?
It would be ideal to enable ADK development for USB Host shield from Processing 3. REF: https://github.com/processing/processing-android/issues/438
Thanks, coast
