GSoC 2020: Idea-Writing MicroPython Examples and Tools for Portenta #141

Hello all! I am Basil, 19 years old from Kolkata, India. Currently I am pursuing my majors in Computer Science Engineering at CHRIST University, Bangalore. I am interested to contribute to the Arduino community by writing MicroPython examples for Portenta. I am well familiarized with C, JAVA and Python programming languages. I have worked on many mini projects using Arduino UNO in the past to learn and tinker about with Arduino and recently I had worked on a project (People Counting System) for my curriculum in college.

Now Python is the evolving field in Computer Sciences, and Arduino would be greatly enhanced by using Python, thus I would like to get some guidance on what kind of examples should I be working on, as I would like to apply for this idea under GSoc 2020.

I am excited to work on this as it would help me explore more of Python and would also help me understand the new Portenta board. Looking for quick responses😅, Thank you.
