areaDetector / ADPvCam

An EPICS areaDetector driver for the Roper Scientific detectors, which includes all cameras from Photometrics and most but not all cameras from Princeton Instruments. The driver is based upon the PVCAM library from Photometrics, and runs on Microsoft Windows and Linux.

Pvcam Linux Support #1

Closed keenanlang closed 10 years ago

keenanlang commented 10 years ago

Working with the Detector Pool at APS, I have been able to update the pci driver support provided by Photometrics for their Coolsnap line of cameras so that it works on modern Linux systems. Which means there is now a reason to build the pvcam areaDetector driver on Linux. I've added in the necessary files to support and modified the pvcam makefile to make this happen.

Hi Keenan,

I looked at your pull request, and it looks good. I have merged it into master.

Note that I still need to convert the version of PvCam on Github into the new layout, which I will do right after New Years.

Thanks, Mark
